Relish reviews… Luponde Tea

Last week, we were lucky enough to receive a beautifully packed box of Luponde Tea samples for the first of our product review blogs.

Diving straight in, we were delighted with the variety of different teas, including Peppermint, White Tea, Green Tea and Black Tea, not to mention the distinctive and premium quality branding and pack formats.

Luponde Tea is Single Estate Tea from Tanzania; the teas are Organic, Rainforest Alliance, Fairtrade and Kosher certified. All are available loose leaf and the majority in tea bags too. The business currently has one shop in Burlington Arcade, London and big plans for the future.

As our resident connoisseur of teas of all varieties, Jo first enjoyed the White Tea…

From the beautiful designed tin to the exquisite taste, this White Tea is a true delight. The silver buds are beautiful to look at and promise much. The drink itself is a very delicate and fresh tasting tea with a slight scent to it.

As advised on the pack, Jo drank this as after dinner and it certainly suited that occasion as a palate-cleansing, refreshing end to a meal. The fact that White Tea is full of antioxidants and is known for its anti-ageing properties was an added bonus!!

Next came the Green Tea which was as good as the White – fresh, exotic tasting and with a lovely, clean finish.

I tried the Black Tea and took great pleasure in taking the time to get out the teapot and savour the moment. Refreshing and delicate, this Black Tea made for a very pleasant morning break.

In our view, Luponde Teas have award winning potential written all over them and we look forward to following the business journey over the coming months!
