Planning for success

September for me is always a great time for a reset and new beginnings. Somehow it feels like the start of a new chapter, just as much as January does.

It’s the month of trade shows, with both Speciality & Fine Food Fair and Lunch! taking place.  I love visiting both of these! Seeing what new products are out there and meeting clients.Plus a great opportunity for getting energised for the Autumn season and the busy few months ahead.

It’s a great time to ensure your sales and marketing plans are fit for purpose:

  • Review what has worked well so far in 2024. Identify any areas of improvement and tweak your plans accordingly.
  • If you are attending any trade shows make sure you make the most of any contacts and leads you get to build momentum for your Christmas sales. Following up promptly is key!
  • Begin planning your Christmas activity now – believe me – retailers are already making their plans – don’t be left behind!
  • Get ahead with your content plans and copy writing. How lovely would it be to have a content plan for the next 3 months all planned out for social, blogs and email ?  You could even get all your copy written for the blogs and emails too!  This would take so much stress away and mean you can focus on maximising sales at the busiest time of the year.

With robust plans in place and content and copy planned out in advance you can set yourself up for a successful end to 2024.
